Steelers Game

Being from western Pennsylvania, my family is obviously Steelers fans, so while we were in Pa, my sister got us steelers tickets for Christmas. It was such a blast and a really cool experience to be at the game.
After the game we posed for one last picture.
My sister who lives in Pittsburgh dropped us off and we walked a short distance to Heinz Field.
My sister, Suzy, painted my face and my nephew Bary's face, and I painted Phils. It was the first time I have ever painted my face, and it was a bugger to get off...but it was worth it.
Lil' Bary and our friend Lisa. (Little Bary is not little by any means, but I have called him that since I can remember because his dad, my brother, is also named bary, so we all call him little bary so no one gets confused.:))

Ahhh it was so much fun...too bad we lost....dang patriots.

Brandy's Wedding

My best friend Brandy got married November 13, and she asked me to be in it, so Phil and I got to go back to Pennsylvania. We had a lot of fun!

Me and Brandy before the ceremony.
The Bride and Bridesmaids on the way to the chapel to get ready.
We all went to the salon to get our hair done, the morning of the wedding. They had a nice lite breakfast for us there.

Funny

I laugh at myself when I think that I tried to post 30 days in a row. What a joke. I have finally downloaded some pictures though, so I will post some of them.

Day 10: Songs you listen to when you're bored, happy, sad, mad, hyped.

Bored: Country...any country...i turn on Pandora and listen to country...i love it...old and new country!

Happy: 80's music...CHER on Pandora. AWESOME station. it makes me reminisce my childhood and teenage years. I was surprised that I knew pretty much every song that played...i might just turn that station on right now.

Sad: Hope Floats soundtrack. Lets just say it does not make me feel any better, but it is what my mood wants. :)

Mad: not really sure...

Hyped: Bon Jovi...especially "Shot Through the Heart" and "Livin' on a Prayer" It reminds me of my bro Kip and when we were younger...Metalica also has some great hyped songs.

Day 9: Something you are Proud of in the last few days.

Yesterday I went shopping and got some really awesome deals...at least for Hawaii.

canned corn and green beans 50 cents each.
cream of chicken soup 79 cents each
jimmy dean sausage BOGO...$3 each (very good deal here)
I can not remember the other deals, but I was pretty happy...i might even go back today and get some more. :)

Day 8: Short Term Goals for this Month and when you'll accomplish them.

Short term goals:
1. unpack all boxes
2. Finish my curtains for the kitchen.

I will complete them by the end of the month...well maybe the middle of January...I think that is a little more realistic with the holidays coming up.

Day 7: A picture of someone or something that has the biggest impact on you.

Right now in my life this little 25 lb squirt has the biggest impact on me. She has blessed my life immensely as I have been able to stay home with her everyday. This little person has the ability to make me feel some of the most extreme feelings. For instance when we had a war of stubbornness yesterday during dinner. She sat in her high chair for nearly 2 hours until she finally took a bite of her dinner...then of course she ate almost the whole bowl of chile. It was one of the most frustrating hours of my life. Then about 30 minutes later while I was laying on the couch, she came and snuggled with me for about 15 minutes just laying with me. I could not have felt happier. Then this evening when I turned on some music and she put on her santa hat that covered her eyes and started dancing. I could not stop myself from giggling a little. On a
daily basis, she makes me feel pure joy, pure frustration, sometimes scares me half to death. She makes me so proud and she is not even 2 yet. Yes, she definitely impacts my life the most...at least for now. :)
