Why blog?

Mostly I look at blogs of friends and families for the pictures, and to see what is new and going on with their lives.  I would not consider myself having the most interesting life lately, but it is about to get much better.  That is why I am starting a blog.  Jessie (what we will name our little girl when she is born)  will be arriving in late April, and I figured I would set this up and figure out how to use it before she comes.
Then in June we will be moving to the Big Island.  This is the island with the volcano.  You may be thinking we are crazy, but we will be living in Waimea which is one of the most beautiful areas in all of the islands in my opinion.  Plus there really is no threat in that area for volcanic activity.
Then when we get to the Big Island we will start building our house.  Phil just got his general contractors license so he will be building it pretty much by himself.  I will help where I can, but all are welcome to come stay with us.  We will only charge you a little labor when you are not playing! :)
So that is the main reason I am starting this blog...because it seems my life is about to get much, much more interesting.  I hope you enjoy!
The pictures are just random from this summer.  Starting from the top.  Me and Phil in a field of Daisies in Island Park, Idaho.
Phil, Me, Jeff, Natalie and Josh.
Dad Heileson and his wonderful sisters!
Phil with Sammy, Duggan, and Ollie, singing at the family reunion.
My silly mom doing her skit with Katie at the family reunion.  It was hilarious!

Random Photos

These pictures are from our family reunion this summer in Pinedale, Wyoming.  One is a before and one is an after. :)  Suzanne in back, Katie in middle, and Jill in the front.

Phil really loves to spear fish, and he is pretty good at it.   I love sunsets, and I especially like to take pictures of them.  We have more pictures of sunsets than anything else.  This particular one in from Kona.

I'm a blogger!

Ok, I am new to this blog thing, but I really enjoy looking at others blog, so here we go.
