Some Pictures

Jessie loves this position! It is one of the only positions that will calm her down when she is really upset. Usually I just hold her up with my hands, but my arms get quite tired...do not worry, I am very careful! :)

One of the few mornings that Phil slept in (until 7) I brought Jessie in so Phil could see how extremely happy she is in the mornings. Phil enjoyed cuddling with her for a little bit.
She is getting so big! I can not wait for her 2 month check up to see how much she weighs and how long she is.

Jessie got a life jacket, and is sooo stinkin cute in it...look at those cheeks...it is hard sometime not to squeeze her too much.

We are moving!

We're moving here!...no, not the house, all the land in front of the house.

We are going to build a house here. This is our land...now we just need a house. So this is the official "before picture". This lot is in Waimea on Big Island of Hawaii. WE are moving over there and renting a house on Friday. We will start building next week or the following week. I will post updates periodically. Our goal is to finish the house by Thanksgiving. It is a pretty ambitious goal since we are building it ourselves, but we will work hard doing it. All are welcome to come and help. You can stay with us for free, we will feed you, and take you fishing and all kinds of fun stuff. :)

I just can't get enough!

It has been so hot lately that Jessie has not been able to wear any of her warm clothes.  We had a ward potluck at the beach park the other night and there was a cool breeze, so I was excited to put this cute little hoodie and jeans on Jess.  This is also the first time she has worn socks. 

Jessie's favorite time of the day is bath time.  It is also one of my favorite times of the day.  She smells so good.  I then feed her and put her to bed and finally get a few minutes with my wonderful hubby.

Jessie is starting to respond a lot more.  It is sooo much fun.  She thinks that everything I say is so funny.  I love to make her smile.  She is also starting to coo, and she has the cutest little voice.

To the beach

Me and Jessie took the bus to Turtle Bay to go to the beach with some friends.  We had a good time, but I got fried!!! I was even in the shade most of the time...I guess that is what I get when I do not go to the beach often enough!

Jessie's Blessing

Jessie was blessed this past Sunday June 7th.  Phil was a little nervous but did a great job!  The pictures were kind of difficult because Jessie was really not cooperating very well. Grandma Bowser made Jessie's dress, and Grandma Heileson made the blanket.  They are both so beautiful and Jessie got lots of compliments.
