Zak and Serenas Wedding

The gorgeous bride and my new sister-in-law, Serena.

The happy couple

Phil and his brothers...by the way this was a period wedding, set in the 1940's ish...so that is why Phil is dressed this way.
He does not normally wear baby blue sweater vests and a panama hat.

Jessie picking up the rose petals after the wedding.

Phils parents.  Mom made her dress.  she did a great job.  I was going to make mine, but ebay was much too easy! :)

Jonathon and Izzy at the reception.  I think they were dancing.

Phils nepthew Jake...for some reason jessie calls him baby Jake.  I think it is hilarious, so I do not correct her. :)

Jake and Jessie dancing.  They had a 20 peice band that played big band music all night.  It was so much fun to dance and watch other people dance.  Phils parents were lighting up the floor.  I wish I had gotten a picture of them, but Phil and I were dancing too...too busy having a great time I guess.

It was really fun to play dress up for the evening. My neighbor Stephanie loves Halloween and so she leant me all the jewelry and gloves...they really made my outfit.

The girl who caught the bouquet, gave it to Jessie afterwards.  Jessie was in love and danced with those flowers for the rest of the night.  It was so cute!

Bowser Family Reunion

Unfortunately I did not take many pictures at our family reunion...and even less at the Heileson family reunion.  we ewnt to Pioneer, California and stayed in a really awesome cabin. We went to a lake...which was freezing, but the kids (and some of the big kids) did not seem to mind. The next day we went to a park and played a ton of games. It was a really good time and were really happy that we could make it.

Three cousins all within 4 months old...my mom was very busy those 4 months!

So I got a text yesterday from my neice saying I needed to update my blog...so this one is for you Lindsey.
Lindsey came home with us after our trip to the mainland.  She made a deal with her dad last year that if she went an entire year without sugar, she could come stay with us here in Hawaii for a few weeks.  She is amazing and did in fact go an entire year without sugar...not just candy, but cakes and candies and syrup and everything with sugar.  She was allowed honey as a sweetener...everything else was sugar free...for an entire year!!!  She is amazing and an awesome example of self control.  And she is only 15 years old.  Anyway she was only able to come for a week because she is a busy little bee and had to be back for dance camp, but we had a blast while she was here!
She turned 15 while she was here, so for her birthday I took her parasailing....it was so fun.  I questioned posting these pictures because she makes me look like a ghost, but unfortunatly there were none of only her. :)

Happy birthday Beauty!

Another day at the beach.

No, she is not asleep...but she had not yet figured out how to hold the bottle herself, so this was her solution to the problem...my little problem solver!

At Waipio Valley....Jessie often talks about when Lindsey was here...they were buddies!

Pololu Valley

This is how we hike...I am carrying a backpack and beach towels just for the record. :)

NOt for the faint of heart!

So when Jessie goes potty, #2, she yells at the top of her lungs, "daddy, i pooped" it is pretty hilarious. Well today a few minutes after hearing this, she runs into the room and says, Mommy, I pooped a family, a daddy poop, a mommy poop, and 2 sister poops....nice....thanks phil...at least she told me and not her nursery teacher!

6 months

Today Izzy makes 6 months.  Boy how the time has flown by.  She weighed in at 14 lbs. 5 oz (23%) and she is 26.75 inches long (84%).  and her head circumfrance is the 99th%. At least her head is still on the growth charts and honestly I do not think that it looks very big...maybe that is because I am her mama. :)

Izzy is such a sweet sweet girl!  She is so so quick to smile, but does not give up her giggles very easily.  When she does though, it will make your heart melt instantly!  She is a great baby and only really fusses when she gets bored, hungry or tired.  I have to admit that she is a mama's girl.  Sometimes she will be content until she sees me and then she cries until I pick her up.  I can not blame her...I am pretty awesome! :)  We have started  her on baby food this week and so far she loves sweet potatoes, carrots, and peaches.

We all love her so much.  Phil is really enjoying her getting a little older and more responsive.  Jessie loves to make her laugh by playing ring around the rosie. And I love that she still cuddles with me.  She really is such a sweet little thing!!!

Anyway, here are a few pictures from the last month.

Isabella's Blessing

Izzy was blessed last Sunday. Phil did a great job. The blessing was very sweet. He was not quite as nervous as he was with Jessie. :) Anyway, I could not find Jessie's blessing dress any where, so on Thursday my mother in law and I started this dress. It came out beautifully, and I was so glad that she was here to help me....well I think really I helped her...she definately did the majority of it! Anyway, here are a few pictures of Izzy's big day. We sure love her!

As you can see here she is such a happy baby. She just needs to hear Phil's voice and she is all smiles. She coo's a ton and loves when Jessie pays attention to her. She is a great little eater. At her 2 month appointment she was 11 lbs. 5 oz ( in the 56%) and 23 1/2 inches long (in the 95%). Tall and thin just like her daddy. She has an increadibly loud cry....seriously it is loud, other people have even commented on it, so I know it is not just me. Luckily we do not hear it too often because she is always so content.

Our Christmas Card...coming soon

So the holidays here have been a little crazy for me and not everything got done that I wanted to do. The main thing is our Christmas card. I wanted to wait till Isabella came before we took the picture...then once she came, Phil was gone pretty much the entire time until December 24th...he was around for a couple days here and there, but he had a lot of work on Oahu. Anway...we just did not get it done...but it is finally done and now I just need to get it printed and sent...so hopefully I can get that done soon! :) So here is a little sneak peak....we decided to go with a theme this year...REDNECK..:)

I just love this picture of Jessie...she was so over taking pictures!
