Zak and Serenas Wedding

The gorgeous bride and my new sister-in-law, Serena.

The happy couple

Phil and his brothers...by the way this was a period wedding, set in the 1940's ish...so that is why Phil is dressed this way.
He does not normally wear baby blue sweater vests and a panama hat.

Jessie picking up the rose petals after the wedding.

Phils parents.  Mom made her dress.  she did a great job.  I was going to make mine, but ebay was much too easy! :)

Jonathon and Izzy at the reception.  I think they were dancing.

Phils nepthew Jake...for some reason jessie calls him baby Jake.  I think it is hilarious, so I do not correct her. :)

Jake and Jessie dancing.  They had a 20 peice band that played big band music all night.  It was so much fun to dance and watch other people dance.  Phils parents were lighting up the floor.  I wish I had gotten a picture of them, but Phil and I were dancing too...too busy having a great time I guess.

It was really fun to play dress up for the evening. My neighbor Stephanie loves Halloween and so she leant me all the jewelry and gloves...they really made my outfit.

The girl who caught the bouquet, gave it to Jessie afterwards.  Jessie was in love and danced with those flowers for the rest of the night.  It was so cute!

Bowser Family Reunion

Unfortunately I did not take many pictures at our family reunion...and even less at the Heileson family reunion.  we ewnt to Pioneer, California and stayed in a really awesome cabin. We went to a lake...which was freezing, but the kids (and some of the big kids) did not seem to mind. The next day we went to a park and played a ton of games. It was a really good time and were really happy that we could make it.

Three cousins all within 4 months old...my mom was very busy those 4 months!

So I got a text yesterday from my neice saying I needed to update my blog...so this one is for you Lindsey.
Lindsey came home with us after our trip to the mainland.  She made a deal with her dad last year that if she went an entire year without sugar, she could come stay with us here in Hawaii for a few weeks.  She is amazing and did in fact go an entire year without sugar...not just candy, but cakes and candies and syrup and everything with sugar.  She was allowed honey as a sweetener...everything else was sugar free...for an entire year!!!  She is amazing and an awesome example of self control.  And she is only 15 years old.  Anyway she was only able to come for a week because she is a busy little bee and had to be back for dance camp, but we had a blast while she was here!
She turned 15 while she was here, so for her birthday I took her parasailing....it was so fun.  I questioned posting these pictures because she makes me look like a ghost, but unfortunatly there were none of only her. :)

Happy birthday Beauty!

Another day at the beach.

No, she is not asleep...but she had not yet figured out how to hold the bottle herself, so this was her solution to the problem...my little problem solver!

At Waipio Valley....Jessie often talks about when Lindsey was here...they were buddies!

Pololu Valley

This is how we hike...I am carrying a backpack and beach towels just for the record. :)
